For as long as Sarah can remember she's had a paintbrush in her hand. She comes from an artistic family and was encouraged to flex her creative muscles at a young age. She finds inspiration in the Lowcountry landscape, mark-making of the 20th century impressionists, and the unique ways light, shadow and color interact. That inspiration took her to Appalachian State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. Since then, she's worked full-time as a graphic designer, and most recently for artist and entrepreneur Ruth Chou Simons. This background in graphic design has led her to experiment with digital mediums and methods of creating art. She now resides in Charleston, South Carolina. She currently works full-time for author and artist Ruth Chou Simons at GraceLaced as her graphic designer.
