I love the way color can transform a body, an outfit, a mood, a room. Which is why I'm drawn to painting the female form—the lines and curves, bends and angles—in bold shapes and saturated hues. A swathe of indigo; a splash of chartreuse; a block of fuchsia; puzzling out the perfect palette makes my heart sing and continues to bring me back to my easel. When I'm not painting people, you can find animals, insects, landscapes and abstracts popping up in my studio.
My paintings are inspired by travel, pop culture, antiquities and nature. Yoga, pastries, hiking and a healthy dose of reality TV also make me happy.
