Raised in Winter Park, Fl, Caron feels called to capture the lush landscapes and florals that flourish in the sunny southeast. She started painting at the encouragement of her sixth-grade teacher and after taking art in college she studied with several noted painters while serving for many years as creative director for a local church. Today she is a full-time artist painting in her home studio with acrylic, oil, and digital mediums. Like many painters Caron loves to be nature, so her work often features shaded paths, moss draped oaks, lakes, oceans, and florals of every kind. She welcomes painting custom pieces for anyone seeking just the right art for their home. Her work has been shown in regional and online galleries and displayed in local shops and in the homes of collectors throughout the US. Her work has been featured in Stroll magazine. Caron and her husband, David, have three sons and live in Winter Garden, Florida.
